I was born in abject poverty. To feed the family, my mother enrolled me, as well as my fourteen siblings, in numerous experimental medicine programs at research hospitals in neighboring cities. Following a nasty incident with a research assistant and a successful lawsuit, our mother was able to purchase a modest home and enroll my three youngest siblings in school. They were compassionate enough to teach me to read and write. Soon after, I took my story on the road, appearing on several day time talk shows, e.g., Sally Jesse Raphael, achieving a modicum of notoriety. Product endorsements and public appearances followed, and financial security was finally within my grasp. Unfortunately, side effects from the medical experimentation of my youth drained what little money I'd managed to save. Now, I live in a shelter provided by The Sisters of Mercy, and am reduced to selling plasma on a weekly basis, just to pay for this live journal account.
