You think Jack Ruby just up and died of cancer in four weeks after he gets a retrial? That's some kind of new cancer - I'd say that's a "going out of business cancer." Rainy Days and Mondays suck like a Dyson!

  • It's Monday, nuff said.


  • Health Care Reform inspired mania has reached the herd in my office. These are mature women, who, for the most part, are very intelligent. However, one of them announced that if the Health Care Reform is passed, our massive health system will most likely close its doors. It seems that the Democrats will insist that every institution that qualifies for and accepts Medicare and Medicaid, will be required to perform abortions. Since we are employed by a Catholic organization, we cannot and will not perform abortions, which means we will lose our Medicare/Medicaid status and will be forced to close. *sigh* And these women actually BELIEVE this shit.


  • After listening (not arguing or even commenting) to that lunacy for most of the morning, I decided take a walk on my lunch break. I walked to a nearby restaurant and just sat quiety. While hiking back to the office, the skies opened and drenched me thoroughy. The wind was unbelievable and kept whipping water in my face. My contacts lost contact and I was nearly blind. Once inside the buidling, I actually had to pour water out of my shoes. One of these days, I will remember to take a change of clothes to the office, so that in cases like this, I will have something dry to wear.


  • All the ladies in my office thought it was hilarious that I was wet and cold. Just one more reason for me to hate them!




Okay, enough whining and complaining. I'm home and dry, there is a True Blood replay on HBO, and I have no reason to be unhappy anymore. I hope everyone has a lovely evening.
